Environmental Policy

fba is located in Aberystwyth and provides creative marketing communications solutions for a variety of clients in Wales and beyond. Our design services include brand development, product and corporate literature, website design and marketing materials. Our public relations service covers media relations, crisis management, contact management, monitoring and research activities. fba has fostered long term relationships and has an impressive list of clients from both the public and private sectors.

fba has always had a strong commitment to environmental best practice and have now formalised this by implementing an environmental management system which meets the requirements of BS 8555:2003. The key principles, to which we subscribe, are:

 Continual environmental improvement

 Pollution prevention

 Compliance with legal and other environmental requirements

We recognised that our key impacts on the environment are related to energy use for heating and office appliances, office material usage and travel. We have already endeavoured to reduce such impacts by installing under floor heating in the newest part of our building, increasing the use of the internet and email and using teleconferencing and videoconferencing where practicable.

We plan to increase staff awareness of environmental issues and continually review our office activities to identify potential opportunities for further improvement. We have a challenging but realistic improvement plan in place which will be monitored and revised as necessary to ensure we maintain our focus on operating a sustainable business.
